Janusz persistence in his work was very much like my Father's who passed away last week. However where they differed was patience. Janusz was always patience with me. While I hold two degrees in science they are mostly related to management science so I had a lot to learn from your Dad. I had much respect for your father. The only other person I knew from Poland escaped the Warsaw Ghetto during WW2 and was the only survivor of his family. They owned a vineyard in Austria. Bill Loew and hsi wife Lois recreated his fathers vineyard in Taylorville, Md just before his retired from FDA. Back to my closing. I did not feel the time was right to mention this at closing of the seminar so I choose to do it now so your brother Tom could edit it or delete it if neccessary. Donald Sheehan from Dartmouth University stated in his paper on Dostoevsky and Memory Eternal: An Eastern Orthodox Approach to the Brother's Karamazov. "To be in Paradise is to be in eternal memory and, consequently, to have external existence and therefore an eternal memory of God. In Greek this is sung as a Lullaby "Aionia I mnimi". Your father is truly in Paridise. It was an honor to attend your father's memorial seminar. Best wishes to you and your family
