I was anxiously waiting at Providence Hospital with my parents for the birth of Angie and Tom's first child. Janusz was flying in from Washington DC for the event. We were so weary from the long hours of labor Angie was going through(not as weary as she and Tom =-) and then Janusz appears on the scene. He is FULL of energy, excitement, enthusiam, armed with a multitude of cameras for this sacred event. The contrast in energy was astonishing. He boosted us up for the beautiful eventuality which was to come...the arrival of Miss Maria. That was perhaps the longest period of uninterrupted time I had with Janusz and without a doubt the most memorable. I am grateful to know Janusz and Zofia, to have them as a part of my extended family life for the years that I have. My world is a richer, deeper and better place because of it.
